Aaron Goldberg, Omer Avital, Ali Jackson, Jr. : Yes!

I don’t feel any anguish for the end of the weekend and the start of a new week – that hasn’t always happened – a new job changed my life perspective – from my experience this music should have been a great help to get ready for another week of boredom and monotony back in the days! Close your eyes and listen, Yes! it’s good for your soul!

CAMILA MEZA QUARTET || You’re My Thrill | LIVE at Smalls Jazz Club

Is it possible to start a week, a Monday in a perfect way? There’s definitely none! But we might try to get some help!

Camila and her quartet come to rescue us, and they succeed!

AARON GOLDBERG TRIO || Isn’t She Lovely || Tuscia in Jazz

Choosing the tunes you play is a difficult task, besides, not everyone agrees with picking songs from uncommon territories!

What should we say after listening to this version/rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”?

Zack Brock | Serendipity

I have been warned, the first signs of autumn were coming, naïvely I refused to accept it, today I realize how wrong I was, it’s raining and it’s quite clear what will happen soon enough. The violin evokes nostalgic moments, Zack Brock released a new album in May, its sounds seem appropriate for a dark rainy almost mid-August day. Serendipity means or can be the faculty of finding good things just by pure luck. So let’s listen to it, I am sure it will be one of the best things of the day.

Zack Brock | Almost Never Was

I’ve had my share of violinists in jazz – from Warlop to Grapelli or from Ponty to Lockwood, all virtuosi gave their contribution to this musical genre – Zack Brock sounds beautifully, moreover he reminds me the best times of Ponty – my favourite of them all, right before exploring rather strange moves – at times I have to check who is playing when, and that is awesome and a compliment at the same time. A delight!
