Pancho Molina and Elias Meister come from quite different backgrounds. Together with George Garzone – saxophone, Leo Genovese – piano, rhodes, hammond, e-harpsichord, surna flute, taisho harp and Ben Street – bass, they recorded Open for Business in 2013 in the Sear Sound Studios in New York. The language of jazz demands combination, blending, association so as to create and form what we may call an amalgamation of diverse mixed elements. That is quite what these great musicians do throughout this great recording!
