Rodrigo Ratier is an Argentine pianist that went to Chile taking with him a cultural heritage of compositions and musical research which result in a work that combines the Argentine folklore and tango ( Piazzolla’s influence naturally) with the improvisational language of jazz. The result is something that I appreciate very much – a beautiful culturally involved global sound!
